Student assistant IMT4316 Information Architecture

The department of Design is looking for 1 student assistant for the course IMT4316 Information Architecture (MIXD — Master in Interaction Design, Fall semester 2021).

The topics discussed in IMT4316 Information architecture are: design of user-centered information structures, labeling and classification systems, re-architecture of knowledge bases to faciliate navigation, qualitative and quantitative evaluation of information architectures.

The main tasks of the student assistant are:

• creating useful and stimulating hands-on exercises,
• facilitating communications via the course forum,
• organizing guest lectures,
• grading assignments,
• and, in general, supporting the course coordinator with the day-to-day activities.

The applicants must have a good knowledge of Information Architecture, for example having attended this or a similar course in the past.

Abitity to speak English is required. Ability to speak Norwegian is not necessary but desirable.

The estimated total number of working hours per student per term is approximately 30.

The position is paid NOK 168.41 per hour + feriepenger (NOK172.77 with LAOS course).
