IDG1362 Introduction to user-centered design (fall2022)

Description:

Institute for design, Gjøvik needs 7 student assistants in the course «Introduction to user-centered design». From the course description «The core of this course is to introduce the students for User-centered design and they will learn to use it by identifying a problem or a need for a defined group of users. The students will then develop suggested solutions through using creative techniques and make sketches and prototypes and in a systematic way, test these solutions on the primary users». The work will include guidance of and contact with students.

Student assistants should be 2nd or 3rd year students at BWU, BIXD or BMED, or Master students at MIXD. The assistant must speak English as the teaching and deliveries are in English, and it is advantageous that he or she can also speak Norwegian.

The work will vary in scope and has a limit of maximum 70 hours per assistant per semester. Some hours of work each week will be necessary (minimum 2 to 5h).

The position is paid NOK 164,36 per hour (or NOK 168,41 with LAOS course) + feriepenger.
