4 student teaching assistants are sought by the Department of Design to help with matriculation ceremony and “start up” for new first year students. The job will involve mentoring new students at Mustad.

We are searching for one student assistant for each study program at the department.

Your task will be:

  • First-line contact for students at your studyprogram
  • Welcome new students, and show them around Mustad and help them find their way around campus
  • Easier administrative tasks
  • Organize activity in our workshop and new facilities
  • Be part of planning the new semester for the new students
  • Contribute to help organizing and finding décor for our new facilities
  • Help with finding and writing content for our webpages
  • Planning and work at “Open day” in September.

The applicants must be fluent in Norwegian and English.

The estimated total number of working hours per student per term is approximately 120 hours. For the master program it is estimated 40 hours per term and more digital mentoring. All international master students will start their school year in their home country this fall, and lecturers might need some help getting all students involved online.

The retribution is NOK 159,40 per hour + holiday pay (feriepenger).
